Robert joined ASA Computers bringing more than 28 years of technology industry leadership, computer hardware expertise, systems integration and executive management experience to his role with the company.
Mr. Chen is VP of Sales (Systems Integration Division) and Head of Business Development at ASA.
Robert Chen manages direction and strategy at ASA, facilitating company activity in consulting, sales, marketing, alliances and channels, and support. He is responsible for ASA Computers Systems Integration Business Unit for industries, serving specific markets and industries such as financial services, health sciences, telecommunications, and manufacturing with products designed to help solve the most complex business problems.
Previously, Mr. Chen headed up Fortune 500 Companies in Sales and Sales Management for Motorola Asia Pacific, Compaq Computer, Symantec, FIC and Digital Equipment Corporation in USA and Greater China. Mr. Chen is accomplished in identifying and capturing New Opportunities and developing Strategic Alliances to accelerate expansion, increase sales revenues and improve profit. He has skills in nurturing contacts and negotiating joint venture agreements with Companies in USA and Greater China.
Major Systems Integration projects that Mr. Chen won and successfully implemented includes: TSMC, Cypress Semiconductor, Micron Technologies, Mitsubishi, Winbond, UMC, Hong Kong Jockey Club (off track betting), Korea Telecom (AT&T long distance), United Technologies, Gillette, Yale University, Massachusetts General Hospital, ADP, and Shoretel.BACK
